Admissions Process

Chestnut Hill Academy begins accepting applications in September for the following school year. Acceptance letters are mailed out in the following March.

An application consists of several pieces of information that serve to give us the best overall view of the student. School records, teacher evaluations, a half day visit, and student assessments are all part of the admission process. 

To begin the application process you can download the application forms online. You can also e-mail us or call us at 425-576-1212 to request a paper application packet be sent to you by mail.

Fifth through Eighth Grade:

The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is required for all students applying for grades five through eight. Students, who wish to be considered for the 2010-2011 school year, should take the ISEE test by January 24, 2010. Applicants may register online for the test at www.iseetest.org. International applicants may submit a TOEFL test as a substitute for the ISEE test.

Application timeline:

September – Start accepting applications for the following school year

January 24th
– Deadline to take the ISEE for fifth through eighth graders
January 28th – Deadline to submit application

March 18th
– Letters of Acceptance are mailed out
March 29th – Deadline for Acceptance contracts
