Extracurricular Opportunities Our school’s extracurricular activities range from specialty classes, extraordinary field trips, and guest speakers to an array of classes offered after school.  We offer a wide variety of extracurricular activities and clubs at Chestnut Hill Academy, which are after-school clubs and classes that the students can participate in.  They give our students an opportunity to participate in activities without having to travel to another location. Some of these classes and clubs include karate, chorus, dance, cooking, creative writing, photography, Chinese, Japanese, math club, chess club, yearbook club, and Play Ball.  These offerings change from year to year based on student interest. We also offer a wide variety of musical instrument lessons on campus as well.  Extended Day Chestnut Hill Academy also meets the needs of working parents in need of additional supervised care for their children before and after school. Our Extended Day program begins at 7:00 a.m. and continues after school from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Chestnut Hill’s extended day program offer families the opportunity to enroll their children in a safe, convenient, and stimulating program here on the school’s campus before and after school.  Our program is staffed with the same professional staff that the students have come to know throughout their academic day at the school. The teachers are consistent throughout the year, providing students with a warm and trusted adult presence. The staff plan active and quiet play, indoor and outdoor activities, as well as group and individual projects.  Children also enjoy a nutritious snack.  In addition, there is the opportunity to enroll in numerous Extracurricular Clubs and Enrichment classes in a wide range of activities and subjects.
